Vote for my Grandpa

My philosophy of local government is
simple.  I feel that we should concentrate
primarily on the funding and maintenance 
of our police, fire, and public works
departments.  I will consider all questions
that come before me with this in mind.
I will look at these matters keeping
neighborhood concerns at the fore
front of my thinking.  I think that govern-
ment should be as unintrusive in our lives
as possible, but mindful to assist
those in our society with the greatest
need.  I will enlist the opinions of as
many of our citizens as are willing to
participate.  And along with the thoughts
of staff and other board members, as
well as my own convictions to arrive at
the best solutions for our community.
